New Beginnings

jonathan greenstein 2017The Sunday before the new school year began, we experienced the bittersweet day of saying farewell to our long term YRE Assistant, Jonathan Greenstein, as he begins his freshman year at Florida State University. Jonathan was presented with a check from the congregation along with cards, a photo collage and a cake. Our YRE youth performed a dance to Phil Phillips song “Home”, while Rev. Khleber played the guitar and the congregation joined with their strong voices.
Rev. Khleber blessed all our children as they begin this new academic year. Special backpack charms with the UU chalice were made by Stephanie Zoernack and presented to each child.jonathan greenstein 3 2017
